Her Name is Rio
I loved Her Name is Rio right from her first bloom. She exhibits all the great qualities of Pierce's Cherry Ice Cream Smile--a striking, magenta-pink base with a bubblegum pink watermark and a double-banded pink and gold, ruffley edge -and she magnifies them. Despite her pronouced ruffling she rarely gets hung up when opening, and she holds her color and form throughout the day.
Tet, 29-30", 6.5 inch flower, evergreen, bud count 18-22 flowers per stake. Nothern hardy to at least zone 6a-currently being tested for resiliency in zone 5b.

Cherry Vanilla Frappe
I grew up in Maine, and in Maine we call really thick milkshakes, frappes. This daylily has flowers so thick and rich they make me think of that New England treat. Cherry Vanilla Frappe is a cool and frosty cherry, with a matte pink watermark, a thin, pinkish white edge and a green throat. Her scapes are extremely sturdy, 30"-32" tall with 3-4 way branching and 20-22 buds per scape. Her flowers measure 6.5-7 inches. She is an early to midseason bloomer with semi-evergreen foliage, and she is hardy in my zone 6a garden.

Alphecca is the brightest star in my garden. Her purple eye is luminous and becomes almost iridescent as the day progresses. She is one of the most prolific bloomers I've known, putting up scape after scape from late June until early August, and often reblooming again in September. Her scapes are 29"-30" tall and she has at least 20 buds on every scape. She is extremnely fertile both ways. Her foliage is semi-evergeen. She is hardy in zone 6a.

Purple Goblin
Definitely better-looking than the goblins you'd see in Gringott's-and magical, too! I've never been that partial to appliques, but I just love Purple Goblin. His flowers are rosy pink, five-inches in size, and each sports a magenta eye stamped with a golden yellow appliqued throat. The scapes are 24"-26" in height with 22-24 buds per scape and 3-4 way branching. He blooms prolifically over a long period, and increases well.

Jaguar's Cub
I admit it, Jaguar's Cub looks an awful like like his daddy, Lonesome Jaguar, hybridzed by Mike Derrow. But this baby is just so darn gorgeous I had to intoduce him anyway. Jaguar's Cub is orange cream with a jagged, wine-purple eye and a matching ruffled edge over an olive green throat. His scapes are 25"-27" with three-way branching and 22-24 buds per scape. The foliage is semi-evergreen, and he is hardy in zone 6a.
